Underpinning & Remedial Works To Existing Farmhouse

This farmhouse, near Rochester, began showing signs of cracking in 2018. It got progressively worse and required further investigations and remedial works going into 2022/2024.

Our Structural Appraisal suggested rotational movement of the right hand flank wall which has caused the distress evident in the photograph, and to the internal division walls between front and rear reception rooms and first floor bedroom.

Further investigations were carried out and a remedial scheme was prepared, to include underpinning. The project will be completed this year, after extensive works to make the house safe for tenants to live.
